computer technology aimed at revolutionising
the future of business travel is being pioneered
by a Leamington firm. The Travel Management
Group has been selected to try out Satellite
Ticket printers (STP's), which can be used by
both companies and customers. The new
technology enables authorised TMG customer's
to make travel arrangements via the Internet
at any time of the day or night. It also
allows them to produce the necessary tickets
and documents instead of having to wait for
them to arrive in the post.
David
Moore, TMG's Director of business travel operations,
said: "Location is no longer an issue as
investment in technology has brought about this
change with business travel arrangements on
hand at a click of a button. "The
technology is bringing business travel into
the 21st century were journeys can be arranged
in house simply and securely".
