A travel firm in Warwickshire has unveiled
a new way of helping tourists to avoid holiday
misery. Travel Management Group, in Dormer
Place, Leamington has launched its online Hotel
Gazetteer which shows customers what their intended
resorts and hotels are really like. The
gazetteer, or so-called "truth book",
gives an impartial verdict on popular hotels
and resorts, cutting through travel clichés.
It has been published in book form since 1968,
but TMG's online version is available at a click
of a button. Helen Ward, manager of TMG
Leisure said, "TV is inundated with horror
stories from people who have booked holidays,
only to be left disappointed, upset and bewildered
as to why they bear little or no resemblance
to what they see in the brochures.
"TMG's customers will not suffer the same
fate, by booking with the help of our online
gazetteer."
