A Leamington travel firm has linked up
with the FA to help hundreds of England football
fans jet off to Portugal this summer when the
Euro 2004 Championship kicks off. Travel
Management Group, in Dormer Place, will take
care of the travel arrangements of official
England supporters heading off to the soccer
showpiece that gets underway on June 12 in Porto.
The firm, which has specialist divisions including
sports and business travel, will be organising
several packages for the event for England's
group matches and the knockout stages of the
tournament.
Jon Reeves, director of operations, TMG Sport,
said: "We will be acting on behalf of the
FA to look after its official sponsors and official
England fans. We would certainly advise
people to purchase tickets from official sources
and travel on organised tours to the championship
to avoid facing any problems when they get to
Portugal.
